Passover begins one week from today and I started wondering how a dining table is set/decorated for the holiday. So I decided to visit my favorite website (yes, Pinterest!) to search Passover and see what I came up with. At a quick glance, I noticed that people decorate their dinner tables much the same as Christians do their Easter tables. However, what struck me is how meaningful and steeped in tradition many of these designs were. As with any table set for any holiday, they range from simple and elegant to over-the-top, so it really does depend on each individual’s personal preference. I loved the use of bitter herbs (both beautiful as decor and practical as a symbol of the past) and I also found a few yummy recipes that I’d love to try! Take a look at some of the beautiful variations on Passover tables that I found!

Lenox Wedding Tour 2012!
We’re so excited to announce that we’ve already begun plugging away at this year’s Lenox Wedding Tour (note the shorter name!). The Tour, which invites luxury event planners from around the globe, has been scheduled for November 12-15 and will include, once again (and by popular demand!) the Vendor Showcasing/Networking Event. If you live in the area (despite the name, this is NOT exclusive to Lenox vendors), own a wedding-industry related business (i.e. caterer, photographer, winery, venue, etc.), and would like to be included, please contact our office for more details. Last year, people raved about being given the opportunity to network with not only the amazing planners, but also other vendors in the area! Here’s what John Seakwood had to say:
“Just wanted to thank all of you for your excellent work organizing the Lenox Wedding Planner Tour! I thought it was a resounding success, and just the kind of event that the Berkshire community of wedding professionals needs to flourish. Not only did you introduce the Berkshires to planners who might not otherwise think of us, you also encouraged a sense of greater community amongst those presenting at the showcase. A win-win in every respect.
