Standard white, poles throughout, stakes everywhere… And while that’s still the case with some rental companies, Classical Tents (as well as other companies that specialize in events) continuously updates our selection with the newest and most beautiful designs. This is a truly transformative technique that requires great vision and skill. We’ve been fortunate to collaborate with a local draper, Cassandra Redel, who can make any event absolutely glam!

May 9, 2012Get ready for Memorial DayIt’s hard to believe how quickly this year is flying by, and in a couple of short weeks Memorial Day will be here! How do you celebrate? Parades? Picnics? Or just a quiet day in the flower beds? (I don’t know why, this always seems like the perfect day to get new flowers…) Classical Tents has a beautiful selection of reds, whites and blues…from table linens, to napkins, to dishes large and small. Canning jar glasses, trays, cake pedestals, tables and chairs, you name it…we probably have it in our rental line. But be sure to call our offices over the next few days because these items go fast…particularly when picnic season is finally upon us!
May 5, 2012Annndd they’re off…!Good mornin’, everybody! It’s Kentucky Derby Day! Not sure if anyone else gets as excited as we do to throw a party, but I have to say, Derby parties are the best! From rustic (think infield picnics) to elegant (grandstands) the Kentucky Derby themed party has it all, from beautiful red roses, to amazingly fancy hats, to great southern foods and of course, the mint julep. We go to a Derby party every year and this year I’m in charge of the fresh mint. I’ve already alerted Guido’s that they have to set some bunches aside for me! Even the kids can have a festive table to themselves, with horses and horseshoes for decor and these cute silks inspired glass-wraps, seen below. Have a great day, and may the best horse win!
