Since weddings are truly one of the biggest parts of our business, we tend to write a lot about the tents, wedding trends, and so on. But this time of year, especially, is when we see more people renting tables, chairs, dishes and linens for gatherings like baby showers, bridal showers, graduation parties, and right now…Easter dinner! Are you the go-to person in your family who prepares the feast for all of your relatives? Unless you’re Martha Stewart, this can be a task that causes a little stress in the weeks (yes, weeks!) leading up to Sunday dinner! Thanks to Pinterest (of course!), we’ve pulled together some pics of what other people are doing for their tablescapes…from simple to extreme, formal to funky and a few steps in between. Check out some of the cute centerpiece ideas, too! So easy! What’s you’re Easter style? We’d love to hear from you!

Uses for Lanterns
Some of our newer clients may not realize that Classical Tents is ALWAYS expanding our product line, but this is one of the things that keeps our “regulars” coming back for more. Kat purchases fun, new items frequently, as a way of keeping everything fresh, updated and cutting-edge. One of the rental accessories that has been quite popular is our metal lantern, which we now carry in multiple sizes. Brides have opted to use these as aisle markers, walkway lighting, in tablescapes and more, and we now also carry 12 foot staffs (or shepherd hooks) from which to hang them, and this opens up all sorts of new possibilities! Take a look at some of the following images for some inspiration on how you might use our lanterns in your next event (one of my personal faves is the one where the bridesmaids are carrying small lanterns in lieu of bouquets…how beautiful for an evening wedding!).

Ode to the Mason Jar
Okay, so some of us in the office have a newly-formed addiction to Pinterest (can anyone out there relate?), and the other day, Michele said, “Why don’t we give our readers some ideas for the different ways they can use some of our rental accessories?” And so it is that we begin with the humble (and very versatile) mason jar… Sure, you can use them to drink out of and of course, to store your canned goods (please send us your homemade peach jelly!), but have you ever thought to use them as a vase? As an aisle marker? A chandelier? A table number? Or Heaven-forbid, a beautiful, elegant centerpiece? Take a look at the many uses we found, below…we’re pretty sure you won’t just be thinking “utilitarian” any more!
