Our final entry about the Table Design Challenge brings us images from Tricia McCormack Photography, beautiful tablescapes from five of our guest planners and two more wonderful Lenox venues–Gateways Inn and Seven Hills Inn. This “challenge” was so much fun…fun to see how each designer interpreted the inspiration invitations from Crane, fun to showcase the huge variety of linens, china, glassware, etc. that Classical Tents is able to provide and fun to see the clever use of other “found” design elements! We especially love when people use our new farmtop tables! Check out these images…we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

One of the interesting things about this challenge, was seeing how each wedding planner was able to put her unique spin on the table design. We love the look of our new farmhouse table and benches in the elegant outdoor setting, as designed by Lauren Daversa. And the way Lisa Light incorporated old, vintage books with gorgeous cabbage roses. Books actually seemed to be a common theme, as Jessica Herberger of Experience Events not only used them for added height and dimension, but also as a very unique tool for the table numbers! We also love her use of wheat and cotton! All of the flowers were generously donated by Seagroatt Riccardi in Latham, NY, and the challenge was photographed at the various inns by three local photographers. Take a look at these amazing table scapes, as captured by Lisa Vollmer Photography.

For the last several months, in addition to our very busy wedding season, Kat has been toiling away on the Lenox Wedding Planner Tour, which took place November 7-10. Hundreds of hours and many (many!) more dollars went into making this event a great success. Together with the other committee members, we invited luxury event planners from around the country to come to the Berkshires for a fun-filled, all-expense-paid “working” tour (is being wined and dined really considered work??), showcasing the many amazing, historic venues located around town. This included places like Blantyre, Cranwell, Wheatleigh, Ventfort Hall, Shakespeare & Company, Stonover Farm, Appletree Inn, Edith Wharton’s The Mount, Eastover and many, many more. The event was sponsored by Crane & Co., Jane Iredale, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine and Destination Bride, and actually included nine events within the main event itself! We’ll have a TON of pictures to show you in the upcoming weeks (from celebrity photographers like John Dolan, John Seakwood, Scott Barrow and more!)…believe me, we’re just getting started! For more information about the event, visit www.lenoxweddingplannertour.com. We can’t wait to share our excitement about the great success of this tour!
